How to delete a contact (lead/user)

If you need to remove a user or lead from your Customerly account, you can do so in three different ways. Below are the step-by-step instructions for each method.
Method 1: Delete a Contact from Lists
Go to the Lists Section
Log in to your Customerly account.
Navigate to Lists from the main menu.
Select the Contact
Find the user or lead you want to delete.
Click on their name to open the contact details.
Delete the Contact
Click on the Delete button.
Confirm the action when prompted.
Method 2: Delete from the Contact Profile
Open the Contact Profile
Use the Contacts section to find the user or lead.
Click on their profile to open their details.
Access the Delete Option
Click on the three-dot menu (•••) in the profile.
Confirm Deletion
Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
Confirm your action in the pop-up window.
Method 3: Delete from a Conversation Panel
Open a Conversation with the User/Lead
Navigate to your Inbox and open a chat with the contact.
Find the Delete Option
Look at the User/Lead Info section on the right panel.
Click on the three-dot menu (•••) next to their name.
Delete the Contact
Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the deletion.
What Happens After Deletion?
The contact will be permanently removed from your database.
Any associated conversations, notes, and interactions will be erased.
If the same person contacts you again, they will appear as a new lead or user.
