What if my video live chat camera is displaying a black screen?

If you experience a black screen in a live video chat, check this article

If you started a video live chat and turns out your camera is black and the customer cannot see you, or if the same happened on the side of your customer, follow this instruction.

  • Make sure you do not have several conversation tabs open because the system will interpret it as you are already on the call.

  • If you closed all the tabs and left one tab but it's still not working, click on the top right camera button.

  • Then give permission for your camera and microphone to be used in the Customerly live video chat.

  • Click on "Done".


    Now you are all set and enjoy your experience with Customerly.
