If you want to send a personal email to a contact in Customerly, you can do this by opening the contact details page of the client you wish to reach out to.

From there, you can compose and send an individual message.

Customerly will automatically determine the best way to deliver your message, whether it's via chat if the customer is live on your website or as an email if they are offline. You can check the delivery method on top of your messages.

If the user is not online within the desired period we will send the message via email.

Make sure you have the correct settings enabled for sending emails from the inbox in your Messenger settings.
