The article editor does not currently include a built-in emoji picker. However, you can easily insert emojis using your device’s keyboard shortcuts on both Mac and Windows.
Using emojis in the article editor
Emojis are a fun and effective way to add personality, emotion, and clarity to your articles. While the Customerly article editor does not yet have a built-in emoji tool, you can still insert emojis directly by using your device’s emoji keyboard. This allows you to add the exact emojis you want wherever you’re writing.
Inserting emojis on mac
If you are working on a Mac device, you can open the emoji keyboard by pressing:
Control + Command + Space
This will open the emoji viewer, where you can browse and select any emoji to insert directly into your article.
Inserting emojis on windows
If you are using Windows 10 or Windows 11, you can bring up the emoji keyboard with one of these shortcuts:
Windows key + . (period)
Windows key + ; (semicolon)
Once the emoji panel appears, just click on the emoji you’d like to use, and it will be added to your text.
