Your Help Center is a vital hub for customer self-service, so setting it up correctly ensures visitors can easily access helpful resources while experiencing your brand’s style and tone. In Customerly, you can configure your Help Center in the Project Settings under Help Center. Here’s how to manage each section:

Domain & publishing

This section defines where your Help Center lives on the internet and its publication status.

  • Status & URL: Check whether your Help Center is published and see its live URL. You can't unpublish it once published.

  • Customerly default subdomain: Use a yourname.customerly.help address by entering your desired subdomain.

  • Custom domain: Connect your own domain (e.g., support.yourcompany.com) for a branded experience.

  • Show Messenger in Help Center: Toggle on to embed the Customerly Messenger in your Help Center for direct chat support.

Localization

Make your Help Center accessible to a global audience by adding multiple languages.

  • Default language: Set the primary language your Help Center will display.

  • Other languages: Add additional locales (e.g., Italiano, Español) so customers can switch to their preferred language.

  • Add language: Click the + Add Language button to include more translations.

Analytics

Integrate tracking tools to understand how visitors interact with your Help Center.

  • Add your Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager ID (e.g., UA-XXXXXXXXX or GTM-XXXXXXX) to collect traffic, usage, and engagement insights.

Header customization

Your header is the first thing visitors see, so make it informative and on-brand.

  • Custom links: Add up to three navigation links for quick access to key pages.

  • Hero text: Create a welcome or positioning message (e.g., “You have questions, we have answers”).

Footer customization

The footer helps visitors connect with you beyond your Help Center.

  • Social media buttons: Add links to your social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Reddit and Youtube).

  • Footer links: Include up to five resource or navigation links.

This is how you can set up your Help Center in the settings. Good job!
